In a whirlwind of end-of-the-school-year good times, is where it went.
Some of it was actually busy, and not so fun, but overall great things have been happening…
My hub’s eldest son graduated from High School, and is off to boot camp in less than two months–we are so very proud of him and his chosen path–Semper Fi!
My girl wrapped up elementary school and begins at the regional middle in the fall. She did her parents proud this year and was recognized for her outstanding academics–even after having been accelerated a full grade level this year…
I’ve been working on an awesome writing project (less than I probably should have been earlier this month, but am now full steam ahead). But I’m sworn to secrecy and can reveal nothing right now. Hee hee–can’t wait to tell more.
And how’s this for a cool thing?
Yes. I met Jenny Lawson in all her wonderful glory. Me, Hermione and about two hundred of our closest friends willingly crammed ourselves into the basement of the Brookline Booksmith to hear the Bloggess read from Let’s Pretend This Never Happened: (A Mostly True Memoir).
But that is a blog entry unto itself…
And hey! I quit the butts again…going on three weeks now.
More soon, my loyal readers (all three of you…)
