My name is Margaret. I am a writer, and a blogger, and a woman. Just Margaret is my personal blog. This means I write about whatever strikes my fancy on any given day. Often it’s family, or the day-to-day. I don’t generally write about writing per se. My projects are currently each in various stages of creation, and as such are not ready for prime time, if you know what I mean.

Education. Specifically, my kids’ education. I’m the mom of two highly intelligent creatures who give the public school here in Podunk a run for their money.
Family and Parenting. I’ve got those great kiddos mentioned above, two more great stepkids, a husband, siblings, in-laws…it goes on. I generally keep my stories about my own perspective, though.
Media and Feminism. I am a feminist, and I am not a huge fan of Mainstream Media, though I am a consumer of it. Sometimes I write about it.
Books and Reading. We’re a big reading family, and without books, well, I’d be lost. I read all kinds of stuff, and am pleased to be among BlogHer’s cast of Book Reviewers.
Me. Come on, I blog–isn’t it all about me? Personal victories, life’s challenges, housekeeping (or lack thereof), random thoughts, humorous moments–everything’s fair game.
