Last summer I made a valiant effort at planting a veggie garden. With grand intentions I planted tomatoes and peppers, green beans and cucumbers. What is it they say about the best laid plans of mice and men…? I think it was the green horn tomato beetle that made me ultimately turn away from my garden in disgust. But not everything died.
